The story goes that a kid named Mike Roe bought the domain name MikeRoeSoft.com, and Microsoft got mad and sent some lawyers to convince him to shut it down.
I was interested in what happened to the site so I made it the search term of the day. I expected to find that the domain name was now owned by Microsoft. Once again, I was wrong.
Today's Search Term is: MikeRoeSoft.com.
That address shows a one-page site with ad links on it. At the top of the page, it says that it was recently registered at Pool.com and it is now up for sale. I'll bet they want a lot of money for it.
I'm surprised that Microsoft doesn't own it. They are usually so thoroughly heavy-handed in their quest for world domination.
